Cfisticated was founded in 2017 by two accounting students, Cimoné Louw (née Petersen) and Chanel Witting, who shared a love for fashion and a desire to make it accessible. With limited clothing budgets and a determination not to repeat outfits, they began renting out dresses from their shared apartment - offering style variety without the price tag. What started as a side hustle in the heart of Potchefstroom, a bustling university town in South Africa’s North West province, quickly grew into a beloved local brand.

Today, Cimoné is the sole owner of Cfisticated. By day, she works as a Forensic Accountant, and continues to run Cfisticated in her spare time, a creative outlet that remains deeply rooted in her personal style and entrepreneurial spirit.
